Beaver Creek Ski and Snowboard School is a premier program for kids aged 3-14. Half-day or full-day ski lessons (skiing only) are available. There is also supervision during lunch in a state-of the-art learning area at Buckaroo Express.

Buckaroo Bowl provides an introductory park for newbies that allows them to practice their skills on a snow-made slope before moving onto the main runs. This feature is particularly useful for younger children, who might have difficulty focusing on the slopes.

Buckaroo Bowl offers a great place to practice your turns and build confidence on the mountain, in addition the previously mentioned terrain park. When paired with a lesson by a professional instructor, this will allow them to turn with confidence on this snow-made learning ground.

Their lesson will allow them to explore the mountain and snow, including how to make turns on the jib and use a snow-made track, how to slalom and other skills. They will also be able practice their etiquette while on the snow, including wearing helmets and other safety equipment.


Aside from the various terrain parks, the Beaver Creek Ski and Snowboard School offers a number of other ski lesson options. These lessons are designed for advanced, intermediate, and beginner skiers. Private lessons can also be offered.

Talons Challenge: This is the best way to learn more about skiing. This is a 13-run course that involves nearly 24,000 feet of vertical and takes you on some of the most advanced terrain on Beaver Creek's mountains.
