Located in Central Oregon, Mt Bachelor is a wholesome and independent ski resort that offers over 4,318 acres of terrain with 101 named runs and an incredible vertical drop of 3,365 feet. Despite its size and stature, Mt Bachelor has a wholesome local's feel with breathtaking views of the Three Sisters and surrounding pines. A Day on the Mountain: Best for Beginners. Suitable for ages 7+

Our Best for Beginners Program is designed to give your child a first-hand experience in skiing or snowboarding. This program includes a group lesson and rental gear, as well as a full-day lift ticket.

Learn the basics - 6+

The Beginner Lesson Program is suitable for children and adults aged 7 and over. These lessons are taught by a professional instructor. Children can also rent skis or snowboards for the lesson.

Intermediate & Advanced - ages 13+

Our Intermediate and advanced programs are for students who know how to link turns on green and blue terrain. They can also control their speed on black diamond terrain and enjoy all natural terrain in a variety of conditions.


LEVEL 5 - Ages 11+

Students who feel confident and comfortable on all green and blue terrain are eligible for the Level Five program. They are able control their speed in different situations and can use pole swings or plants in all turns.

Our Level Six program teaches students how to link turns on all types of terrain. They can also use a pole swing, or plant in all their turns.

Homeschool Lesson Program - Thursdays, ages 7-15

Our Thursday Homeschool Programme is a 4 week program for snowboarders and skiers of all abilities, 7-15 years old. This program is active, instructive, and social - focusing on safety fun and learning!

Winter Ride - Spring Break for Youth ages 6-12

Our Winter Ride program offers 4-weeks of transportation to youth in grades 6-12 over spring break. The Winter Ride team coordinates local coordinators for transportation to and from Mt. Baker for the duration.
